BREBERTETS PREMIER – Safety & Operating Manual

Welcome to the Brebertets Premier family. Our professional-grade Asado grills are engineered for high-performance live-fire cooking. Safety is our absolute priority; this manual provides the essential technical guidelines to ensure a secure and controlled grilling environment.

1. General Safety Precautions

  • Read Thoroughly: Review this manual in its entirety before operating your equipment.

  • Surface Stability: Place the grill only on a stable, flat, and heat-proof surface. DO NOT place the unit on wooden decking or combustible surfaces.

  • Clearance: Operate the grill only in well-ventilated outdoor areas, away from buildings, overhanging trees, or flammable materials.

  • Outdoor Use Only: DO NOT use this equipment indoors or in enclosed spaces (garages, tents, etc.).

  • Supervision: Never leave a lit grill unattended. Ensure children and pets are kept at a safe distance.

2. Assembly & Installation

  • Instructions: Strictly follow the assembly guide provided. Ensure all fasteners are tightened to specification.

  • Lifting Hazard: The grill and its components are heavy industrial-grade parts. ALWAYS use a two-person lift and exercise caution to avoid injury.

  • Tools: Use the correct professional tools for assembly to prevent slipping or damage to the unit’s finish.

3. Fuel & Fire Safety

  • Approved Fuels: Use only seasoned hardwood splits, lump charcoal, or kiln-dried logs. DO NOT use chemically treated wood, softwoods, or wet wood.

  • Accelerants: Use only approved solid fire lighters. NEVER use gasoline, kerosene, or volatile fluids to start or enhance the fire.

  • High Temperatures: All external surfaces will become EXTREMELY HOT during use. Do not touch any part of the grill body while in operation.

  • Suppression: Maintain a fire extinguisher, sand bucket, or garden hose in the immediate vicinity for emergency use.

4. Technical Operation

  • Temperature Control: Utilise the distinct zones for heat management. Use the provided Ember Rake or long-handled steel tools to manage the firebox.

  • Protective Gear: Always wear heat-resistant heavy-duty gloves when adjusting grates, handles, or the winch system.

  • Winch Mechanism: Use extreme caution when operating the winch handle; these components conduct heat and may remain hot long after the fire is extinguished.

5. Maintenance & Hygiene

  • Food Safety: Maintain strict hygiene by cleaning cooking surfaces before and after use. Use non-abrasive tools to protect the integrity of the steel.

  • Integrity Checks: Periodically inspect the unit for structural wear. DO NOT operate the unit if any component appears damaged or compromised.

  • Storage: Store the unit in a dry, covered area. We recommend using a custom waterproof cover to prevent environmental corrosion.
